Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in the world of television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. De La Garza moved to Texas to pursue an occupation as an exercise physiotherapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for long. She soon relocated into Orlando Florida, where she performed a range of parts as an actor, including independent local films and commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love for acting despite her small role. The year 2001 saw her move to New York where her first part was in All My Kids' daytime soap opera as Rosa Santos.
