Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in the world of television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. De La Garza moved to Texas to pursue an occupation as an exercise physiotherapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for long. She soon relocated into Orlando Florida, where she performed a range of parts as an actor, including independent local films and commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love for acting despite her small role. The year 2001 saw her move to New York where her first part was in All My Kids' daytime soap opera as Rosa Santos. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she had smaller roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major part came in 2004's short comedy The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable performance was in 2006's Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was only a few episodes. The particular character garnered De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television through the Imagen Foundation Awards and even multiple ALMA Award noms. In 2008 she received the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring character. She appeared as Marisol Deko as the spouse of David Caruso's persona Horatio Caine. She played the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen in the NBC drama Do No Harm. The series was canceled after two seasons. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano has an Italian father and younger brother Cory that is one year younger than her. The family she was raised in was an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano started her acting career in the age of seven when her childsitter took her to an audition for acting. With more than 1000 applicants her name was picked as one of just four. Milano has been featured in TV commercials, off-Broadway plays and her role in the American first-ever premiere of Jane Eyre.
